Ghosts, spirits, creatures, demons and more from the paranormal world collide with rational curiosity. As of finishing the movie and coming to the IMDB page, I'm still not certain if each of the segments in this film are connected, or even if they unfold in the same shared universe.
Some of the segments have some great ideas but poor execution, namely the pervading one set in with the professor and the two people. They explore the idea that "ghosts" are actually "inter-dimensional creatures" that exist at a rate of time dilation far faster than ours, similar to the aliens in "Dragon's Egg", so that actual ghost sightings are so rare because it would mean one of these creatures would have to be standing still for hours at a time just for us to be able to see it for one second.
Rather than explore and flesh out this idea in the other segments or in its own segments, we get a random, pointless encounter with one of these creatures that looks for the life of me like a clown mask on a pile of rubber monster costume pieces.
This clown creature says it is not a simple flesh-eating ghoul, yet proceeds to do absolutely nothing to dissuade them, randomly attacking and trying to kill them.
As for the other segments, they are a very mixed bag, with none of them being particularly interesting on their own except maybe the Ghost Hunters one.
The Cam Girls one was deeply intriguing until the tepid reveal at the very end. Overall this was a series of mini films that had no reason to exist, and which did not give any justification otherwise.

I love to get lost in a movie, and I'm partial to supernatural thrillers "The Omen," and if you'd allow "The Chernobyl Diaries". It's competently put together, and the acting is pretty good.
It has an indie feel that I like the director seems quite talented. I'm giving it high marks because it's better than a 3, especially given it's competition lol.
For whatever reason, I couldn't get totally into it. This is an anthology of short "found footage" films. Unlike that series, there doesn't seem to be a reason to include the three mini-stories into the overarching main story.
They just exist in between our main story for no apparent reason. Other than that small complaint, the anthology was very well done.
The overarching story or "To catch a demon" is about a trio of two scientists and a videographer attempting to catch an "inter-dimensional" being on film and end up catching alot more.
Lastly, "Amanda's Revenge" is a unique take on alien abductions. Altogether nothing to write home about but if you're a "found footage" junkie like me or have at least enjoyed some of the bigger titles out there in the sub-genre it will be worth your time to give it a once over.
I agree with some of the other reviewers that if you enjoyed VHS and films of that nature, you are more apt to enjoy this one.
It seems to have had a lower budget, but still I liked it for what it was. The acting wasn't bad, and a couple of the tales had a nice little twist.
If however you are expecting a lot of fancy footwork and slick special effects, you will be disappointed. What else does it need to be?
