Ross D wrote a review Oct Don't stay here. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, period. It's diry, and broken. I changed our room three times, and ended back in the original room.
The foyer looks magnificent, but that's where the magnificence ends. Honestly, the rooms on offer were disgusting. I wouldn't have kept my dog in there.
Sadly, we had prepaid, and had no alternative but to spend the nights there. It really destroyed our New York stay. Ironically, when asked by locals why we were unhappy with the hotel, they rolled their eyes when we told them where.
They said the hotel had a shocking reputation. So, the moral of this write-up, is don't give this hotel your custom.

There was a clear refund policy for cancellation at the time of booking regardless of Covid and this was backed up by a staff text message saying a refund would take approximately 15 days if we cancelled.
However, since cancelling mid- June the hotel has ignored all my emails and attempts to get a refund.
I wouldn't mind if I was told that I had to wait but getting repeatedly ignored is very frustrating. I now have to involve my bank. I would suggest not using this hotel unless your trip is definitely going ahead.
