I mean how could they make a sequel to that? The movie is about all the fame surrounding the first movie and how people flooded into Burkettsville to see if the witch was real.

It actually ends up being a pretty good witch movie of its own. Still to this day I'm not sure what caused the crazy events in the film as it's never fully explained but we're left to make our own assumptions.
